You might be right
There are several people here who bought the VC Ingenieur. At least second best in the popularity contest could be the VC Portuguese: one or two bought one already, several others are waiting for its arrival (like me...). I read here somewehere that an AD proposed that the pilot's watch was a bit of a runner, as the diver's watch, but I am not sure about it. The VC Portofino, that seems to have a delay in production, is ordered by some. Finally, the Da Vinci is a real enigma. It once was my favorite, most of us think it is a "love you, hate you" watch: until now I haven't read that someone bought one.
Kind regards,
Paul, wearing titan Inge Automatic
That's my favorite...
right now. However when the Portofino hits the Ad's I think
that will be the most popular.

Aquatimer here nt.
Aquatimer or Ingenieur
It took me a while to appreciate it, but my favorite steel version right now is the Aquatimer, followed closely by the Ingenieur. Get both for different occasions! :)
Aquatimer for me too
Portofino
The Portofino is gorgeous, but I really do like the aquatimer - it is quite a unique watch.
portifino too
if size matters i think that the portofino is closed to the real.
the inge, portugugese and aquatimer are very nice too ! the design of the da vinci is not really my piece of cake, but it remains a through icon of its time. michiel
VC Ingenieur for me too
but I am still waiting to see in real life again before finalising that one. VC Aquatimer is my 2nd best.
Paul - my thoughts are fully aligned with you.
Andrew
I chose the Portofino sight unseen,
The 46mm size intrigued me as I prefer a larger watch and the moon phase complication was the deciding factor. I have seen the other VC's and they are all worthy models, but the Portofino really caught my fancy.
I am impatiently waiting for mine to arrive. : )
