I was quick to jump on the CF3 bandwagon, but since it would long time
until getting it, I thought I needed something in the meantime.

There was some picture leaks just before Christmas 2013, and two of
the watches peaked my interest. The Ingenieur Dual Time and the bronze
Aquatimer. I finally made my decision when I visited Schaffhausen this
winter just after SIHH and we got to see the new Aquatimer collection
live. I had not really counted on the long wait, but I got the
SS Dual Time a couple of weeks back and the Aquatimer today.

I took the DT with me on vacation, and am very pleased with it. It
wears quite big, but the steel bracelet is superb, and the quick
adjust is just fantastic. This time I did not get to stress the
Dual Time aspect of the watch, but I am sure I will get my chance
    on later travels.

This Aquatimer "Expedition Charles Darwin" is presumably the first
delivered in Europe; good for me! I must say that it wears super nice,
it is larger than my 7-days, but wears smaller. Very comfortable on
the wrist. I was told that the case has got some small alterations since
release, no satin finish anymore and all polished instead. The argument
is that the bronze will keep/age better being polished.

I have a couple of pictures taken with my mobile, but will try to post
some better pictures later. All the pictures are taken in "Vigelandsparken" in Oslo.

Wow, 2x congrats on these beautiful and rather special watches! Great to finally see some real pictures! The Dual Time caught my interest too!

Wear them in good health, regards,

    Bob

Congrats and wear them in good health! From your photos it seems you had a hard time choosing which one to wear. :-) I like the "no compromise". :-)

The Aquatimer is absolutely stunning and arguably one of the coolest watches currently on the market. As for the Inge bracelet, I have the 3239 and can only agree it's superb.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Yes, Congrats!
Nice bridgeover while waiting for the CF3
The bronze AT is terrific - I had the chance to try it and was thrilled. Looks good on your wrist. The DT looks massive but even so restrained - and I love the Inge bracelets in general …
which one you wear more often?
    Best,
    Christian

Well done, two of the most interesting watches of the last year in my opinion! Both look great, and of course the riddle is how the bronze will age: that may take some time, I guess. So, congratulations and enjoy these beauties!

    Kind regards,
    Paul

    Thanks.

When I tried out the bronze AT when I as at Schaffhausen, that was a demo
model that had been out-and-about for a few months. It looked very nice,
not any discolorings but just a even darker patina. Of course how my version
will age largely depends on what environments I bring it to.

Some new pictures in a few months would be in order I think.

Today was special since I wore both watches most of the day (wanted to
take some pictures and got the AT today), but prior to
that I wore the DT exclusively for two weeks and it was very nice.
Depending in what I am going to do I'll mix and match a bit, sporty stuff
close to the sea is likely to get the AT.

Two of IWCs finest from the last two SIHH shows. You are one lucky man. Keep us informed if your CD Bronzer starts to patina.

Brilliant. Love the bronze AT and the Dual Time is like a smaller version of the Mission Earth. Tried them both on recently and loved them. Congrats.

    Cheers,

Two very interesting pieces that have not been seen much on this Forum. I like each one, especially the DT. The bronze will be fun to keep track of since each piece will age differently based on wear and humidity.

Excellent. Two very good looking watches. The dual time is high on my wishlist too, but I'm afraid I have to wait for the CF3 first. Wear them in good health!

Fantastic - and not one but two fantastic timepieces pieces.

Actually, this is the FIRST bronze AT that I have heard actually being delivered to an end user. I might have missed other postings though.

May I ask, in which country it was delivered?

Great watches - wish you well to wear them both in good health.

    MARK,
FYI, NYC Boutique has delivered a bronze AT. Evan, Skule, Bill and I saw it a few weeks back when we were visiting. So, they are coming out and are really very good looking.

I mentioned it briefly in the OP. Oslo, Norway.

According to my AD this was the first bronze AT delivered in Europe.
My AD did good work on my behalf.

    Thanks.
