I am the owner of 3 new vintage colection stainless steel watches.
    Aquatimer (Daily watch)
    Portofino (NIB)
    Portuguese (NIB)

Will these watches ever increase in value, or should I wear them.

First of all, congratulation and welcome to the Forum!

    Wear them and enjoy them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although we cannot discuss dollar values here, my opinion is that these models will not appreciate over their list prices. In fact, after market selling prices for pre-owned pieces, already demonstrate this.

Thanks, I would never discuss dollar values here.
The Portofino will be my go to dress watch, the Portuguese will stay in the box for a while.

Would the limited edition Platinum watches appreciate in value?

I want to start collecting and build an investment.

    Thanks,
    I love the forum.

My general rule is that a watch collection is for the collector and how he feels about the pieces in it. Any investment value is a sidelight to the collection.
Yes, there is money to be made on the occasional piece but that should not be the reason for collecting.
