hello! this is my first post, done out of necessity i'm afraid. i've owned a fliegerchronograph for several years. when ever i would change the date, etc, usually at the beginning of the month, i would consult my little book so that i could wind it and use the quickset without damaging my watch. recently however i moved and in the confusion and somewhere amongst the many boxes of books, i've managed to lose my little instruction book on the correct way to wind. consequently, my flieger sits unused for several months now. can someone please tell me the correct way to wind my watch, and/or are there instructions available on the iwc site? am i just a complete klutz? thank you very much for your help! by the way, i love this watch! v

Winding your watch is not a problem at all>>

but what you should try to be careful of is to avoid adjusting the date a few hours either side of midnight. Put your flieger on your wrist and enjoy it!
    Welcome to the Forum btw.

fmattes, you are my hero! thank you! as for pics, sure, i owe you guys that. and since i am a photographer...coming soon! thanks again for the info. jeez, now that i'm on here, i want some watches. the bp is too big and impractical for me i'm afraid, but i'd love a pilot's watch or- no, not "or", and... a portuguese 1417. i'm a simple man with simple needs. thanks again. i'm going to set my watch right now!!
