I thought I'd ask to see those vintage (with a small "v") AT's:
here's one of mine, and you can see it's about time to leave the office for the day!

OK, let's see some more vintage AT's!

Nelson - love it !
sigh, that's the very one I want (as u know) !
ok, the hunt goes on...

from the left 1812 /1816/1822
There are 4 different dial versions for the 1812 and 3 different dial versions for each of the 1816 and 1822 models
If I remember right The 1822 was introduced by IWC as a straight replacement for the faulty 1816's returned to the factory, which had bezel and case sealing problems and apart from the plain back ( no submarine emblem) they were identical but with the sealing properties improved.
That said it is rumoured that around 30 examples of the 1822 do exist with the submarine back...probably the rarest of them all
Sorry I'm late.
droooling....
Beautiful. One of my favorite IWCs.

The first generation, from 1967.
Stunning!!!
Beautiful just beautiful !!!

The '67 AT was a absolute marvel. Who knew it would return years later in the Vintage Collection with a contemporary updating. Just look at how much attention this model has generated on the Forum lately. In many markets, it's popularity has made it a challenge to find one in stock.
One of my favorite IWC's,
Andy
