    O wow, Michael

Thank you very much, this is quite a remarkable comparison. To tell you the truth, you make it very hard for me and my wife, who is very involved in the process, The watch is a beauty, and the size, well, am I getting used to it? Is it just that it is filling the cormers that makes it look massive? You really can see how well it is made, in a way it has the best of a lot of worlds. O yes, that Portofino is fantastic too, but that one is out of the question.

    Kind regards,
    Paul, wearing steel VC Portuguese

MF, with greatest respect to you, the Portofino is

    the "winner" re this comparison.

Oh my goodness. The VC is a heart stopper,

I love my SS version, but both the PT and RG version are vastly more attractive to me.

We have the same taste Bill

I really love how this watch looks. The lugs look to overhang a little MF. Is this the "case" haha.

probably, but different watches for different uses

I really like both, for totally different reasons.

The design of the Portofino is very pure and elegant. But also after several weeks I didn't discover anything new. The Da Vinci still surprises me, and had much more versatility for wearing in different occasions.

I'm not sure how to compare very different watches, Each has its own unique strengths.

    Regards,
    Michael

Michael, how is the strap changing like?

Is it easy/hard to change between the strap/bracelet?

Thank you for posting CFDV pictures, They really help give better perspective of what it actually looks like, and it does look like a watch with a great amount of detail.

BTW, the Portofino looks really classy!

    Cheers,
    Evan

    I haven't changed it, but...

..shortening the bracelet was a breeze --just like all IWCs except the new Aquatimers. You indent the center hole and push the horizontal bar through. Easy.

The watch came without a strap since importing Alligator leather can cause Custom delays and IWC rushed to get me the prototype.

    Mihcael
