I love my Portugieser Chronograph Classic but the hinge end of the deployant digs into the underside of my wrist which makes for an uncomfortable relationship! My wrist is just over 7" which means I have to wear the strap on the last hole and the short side of the strap holds the deployant from wrapping around to the more curved outer part of my wrist.
A quick measurement with calipers suggests my original black Santoni strap is 60mm on the short side and 125mm on the long side but I can't find any IWC documentation to back this up. One website lists the short side at 65mm but I don't think mine is that long. Ideally I need a new strap that is 75mm or 80mm in length on the short side. Can anyone tell me the dimensions for the genuine IWC / Santoni XL black strap to fit this Portugieser Chronograph Classic 3704 with the curved ends where it meets the case?
