Apologies in advance if this has been discussed on the forum previously - I did a quick search and couldn't find anything similar.

As a newbie to this forum and, really, to the fascinating world of watches in general, I was wondering what websites, blogs and other forums I should be reading to increase my knowledge.

So far my (very small) list consists of Hodinkee and this forum. What would you guys recommend as must-reads? :)

Being a grinch, we really can't plug commercial websites here or expand a lot beyond the topic

To that end, thanks Shing for the many great IWC-related links. They are very helpful. I'd ask that any other links by others be IWC-related, and thank everyone for their understanding.

I very much enjoy spending cyber-space time at watchuseek forums. The Omega forum has some wonderful members but the IWC side seems a bit slow. Rolexforums can also be interesting. Timezone is popular but I am not a fan of the format it uses.

Michael Friedberg - sorry for breaking the rules! I can only plead ignorance as I'm still new here. Point taken, and won't repeat. :)

Alan, you gave me a good belly laugh.
Shing, you need to get out more and leave technology alone! Try a visit to the north pole on foot, pretty sure no Internet coverage there and satellite phones are way too costly to surf with I would imagine!
