The post #1000. Not much in comparison to the other members, especially when
we take into account that most of my posts were about creating the community
rather than sharing expert knowledge. Still I thought it deserves a little
more special attitude to look back at them. Or to be more precise to look back
at the years spent within this community. So how were they?

I became a part of the forum 6 years ago and spent some money on flight
tickets since :o) I have spent some quality time with the people sharing the
same passion. My first encounter with the collector's community was during the
SIHH in 2013 and the very first person I have met was David from US who
recognised me as a lost and lonely collector wandering around the IWC booth
and literally took care of me :o)

Hi Koen, big congratulation to your new watch. It really is an awesome piece. What I especially like is that your grail watch is no tourbi, no repeater, no perpetual, just a simple watch, elegant one, which I admire as well.
