Hi All.
Having just aquiered an IWC Polo Club ref 1831 and wanting to learn more about this truly wonderful piece I was wondering if one of you would happen to have a copy of or a link to an article on the Polo Club that should have appeared in "WATCH" back in 2007, I think it was the december issue?
Best, Ryan
Hi.
I have located an old stainless steel iwc tang buckle that looks legit. However there are no stamps or anything else on the back. Are they supposed to be like that?
Hi all.
I have been searching high and low for a set of endlinks for my old Inge 666. I have the double grained bracelet ref 13 so I will need either ref 1B or 1D endlinks I believe. Other references suitable?
Where else other than eBay, chrono24 and sales sections on various Internet forums etc. would you suggest me looking?
Or if you know of a set being sold please do let me know.
I hope I am OK with the above kind of thread and if not let me know and I'll delete.
Best, Ryan
Hi.
I am in need of an original crown for my yacht club. Can't seem to find answer to my questions neither here or on the www so I'm reaching out to you guys...
First of all - I believe these should be fish Crown, right?
Secondly - what are the correct dimensions as to width, height, tube size etc? And lastly what should it look like profile wise, I see some with a flat end and some have like a ridge going all around the periphery of the end of the crown.
Best regards, Ryan
Hi all.
Just picked up this piece at an Internet auction.
Really miserable pictures and no info as to ref number etc but I liked the look of it and liked that it seemed to have a GF bracelet (no photos of the clasp though).
Placed a low bid and ended up winning the auction.
I am really pleased with what I got...
A flawless dial (black dial turned tropical or "native" Brown?), an unpolished case, a guy Frere bracelet.
I removed the case back pretty easily and found it a ref 817 A and a cal 8541.
I can't however find much info on this reference and I would love to get your comments and thoughts, please.

Hi all,
I have been lurking, reading and trying to gather as much info as possible from this great forum for quite some time. Just recently signed in and thought it was time to say hello :-)
I have been into watches for a few years and have two IWC´s that I am very fond of.
A ref. 3227-01 and a ref. 3536-02.
I have just a couples of pictures to show you:

and

I have found myself being drawn more and more into vintage watches. I think however, that the two more contemporary IWC watches that I currently own, will stay in my collection. But time will tell.
Thank you for a great forum.
