    Dear collectors,

a few years ago I came accross the Mk. 11 which you can see attached.
Since I am not a experienced collector I would kindly ask all of you
who know about this particular watch to share your thoughts and comments with me.
I would be really grateful for your expertise.

I hope the pictures do show all relevant details, otherwise please let me know.

I'm no expert and don't really want to make any uneducated comments... But the crown doesn't appear to be original and looks a bit alien on that watch. Crowns do tend to be replaced, but I'd prefer if original or similar were used.

I think the crown and the rest of the watch looks OK. When Mark 11s came in for servicing, there was a high level of probability that the crowns and other components were mixed up. The picture below is a Mark 11 that was authenticated by Schaffhausen However, there are many suspect Mark 11s out there. The best way of getting the provenance you need is to send the watch to Schaffhausen.

Hi Thoma! Your MKXI look fine to me! Only the plexigas is newer version, maybe replaced by IWC during service.
