Which one? both are really nice. BP Le Petit Prince or Portuguese Annual Calendar.

Wearing the BP Le Petit with brown strap with business suits, black shoes and black belt, ok?

I would go for the Big Pilot, it is a perfectly beautiful watch to me. Although I admire the Annual Calendar, I just don't like the way the date arrangement is done, both from the point of looks and the order of the windows. In this price range I would go for the Perpetual Calendar.

About the colours: the watch and the shoes are far apart. When you see the shoes most of the time you don't see the watch (when walking), when you see the watch most of the time you don't see the shoes (when sitting at a table). I at least never cared about these kind of details. Like, matching the colour of the watch case and the colour of your wedding ring: come on, that would throw a whole range of watches out of the window.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

What should you wear ... watch strap, belt and shoes ?
Well, I agree with Pauls last comment in this case. But, generally, one should always try to roughly match all three from a fashion viewpoint. But having said that, when you want to make a statement regarding your watch, I have seen large white / silver dial Breitlings on light brown straps, with black shoes and belt and it didn't look at all offensive.
    Just my passing thoughts ....

Go for the stunning LPP Big Pilot and use some of the left over budget on matching shoes and belts :-)

While the Annual Calendar is a nice watch, it finds itself in a difficult sandwich position between the already gorgeous 5007 Automatic and the superb Perpetual Calendar.

I have to vote for the annual calendar, definitely more elegant and with complication. As it comes in steel, the perpetual calendar is (unfortunately) much more expensive.

Or then there is the Big Pilot's Watch Annual Calendar Edition "Le Petit Prince"; no-one will even notice your belt or shoes.

I know, it's totally out of scope here, but what about Big Pilot Le Petit Prince Annual Calendar? The best of both worlds.
    ;-)
