Hi I am looking to buy an IWC Portuguese Automatic watch and was wondering whether you can change the colour of the watches face on the IW500106 or IW500114. If so does anyone know the cost of doing so?

MasterTheoretically, this can be done but I believe IWC is reluctant to do so. The price will probably be considerable too.

You generally can't switch dials between different metals, nor upgrade from say a steel watch to the white gold model's dial. I've heard of a few instances where a person had a steel watch that came in both black and white dial versions, and wanted his black dial watch to have the white dial. But IWC is reluctant to even customize to that extent.
