I'm pleased to announce the second interview in the recent forum series, this time with Thang Vo-Ta. If you don't know him, I think you'll find him a truly interesting guy. Even if you've met Thang, I suspect you'll discover even more about him.

Great interview. I love this new initiative, it's fascinating!

Having experienced Thang's hospitality in London, I can confirm that he and the Gentlemen of London are First Class.

This was an interesting and well-done interview with one of my favorite IWC forummers. I too had the opportunity to avail myself to some London hospitality and it was a pleasure spending time with Thang...both in London and Schaffhausen. Mark is exactly right, "the Gentlemen of London are First Class."

Great interview - it's a fitting way to both honour and learn more about the stories behind our forum family.

Having seen photos of Thang's collection in the interview, I now realise that most of my favourite reveals were all his: the Tribute to Japan, green Zegg & Cerlati, the day trip with Arne for the Z&C BPP and also his Plastiki (ahem) model reveal. In addition to crafting unique gardens, Thang, you also weave a strong narrative - I think the two go hand in hand.

Thang - I hope to meet you (and some of the gentelemen of London) later this year, schedules permitting of course!

MF - I'm really enjoying this collector's interview series. Thanks for putting these together.

Very interesting interview Michael and Thang - I love this new series of articles, well done IWC and MF!

Thang, I am really sorry I have missed possible GTGs the last two times I've been to London, the next time I'll make sure to set aside some time to meet up. I truly enjoyed reading about your background and entrepreneurial spirit, and the double acquisition trip that you and Arne did will forever go down as legend on this fine forum. Congrats mate!

I have also had the pleasure of meeting Thang in person, and all I can say is that this piece was spot-on.

    As for his collection...
    [i114.photobucket.com/albums/n257/craniotes/33068169-89BC-4944-8038-7AD2261CCA62_zpsnqx5l09e.jpg](s114.photobucket.com/user/craniotes/media/33068169-89BC-4944-8038-7AD2261CCA62_zpsnqx5l09e.jpg.html)
    ...it speaks for itself.

    And this one...
    [i114.photobucket.com/albums/n257/craniotes/B34873BC-0869-4947-95EB-F3F041E59E19_zpsgn6ue0xg.jpg](s114.photobucket.com/user/craniotes/media/B34873BC-0869-4947-95EB-F3F041E59E19_zpsgn6ue0xg.jpg.html)

    Gimme.

    Well done all around!

Great interview, Thang is not a follower of any one of the family of IWCs, his collection is unusual and comprises surprises like his "Kermit" BP. If his fortune changed to such an extent that he could shop on a regular basis I would be unable to predict the next purchase. It's been a privilege to share some of those special gtg with him and others, whether at the Boutique or London in general and not forgetting Spa Town.
