    Early UTC (IW325101 / IW325102) – original box & papers before 2000?

    Hello everyone,

I am researching the very first production of the Pilot’s UTC, references IW325101 (strap) and IW325102 (bracelet), especially the tritium dial examples delivered before 2000.

I am trying to determine exactly what these watches were originally supplied with. I have noticed that examples offered on the pre-owned market come with a surprisingly wide variety of boxes and paperwork, so I am unsure which combinations are actually original to the first deliveries.

    Specifically:

    • Which presentation box was used for the earliest deliveries (1998–1999)?
    • Was there more than one box type before 2000?
    • What papers were included (warranty card, guarantee booklet, instruction manual, etc.)?
    • Did the packaging change around 2000 or only later?

I would also be very interested in learning how to distinguish an original delivery box from a later replacement box supplied during an IWC service.

If anyone owns a complete early set, or has period catalogues, dealer documentation, or photographs, I would be very grateful for any information.

    Thank you very much!
