At the Collectors' Meeting, IWC announced its intention to significantly invest in the development of the IWC Forum and its collectors' activities. Consistent with that, Tonny Berteloot was appointed to become officially involved with the Forum and the collectors' community regarding the future planning and execution of the work together with me. Tonny's responsibility will grow over time.
Through SIHH 2016, it is intended that I will continue as moderator of the Forum. Tonny's involvement will allow me to engage in other activities for IWC, including writing articles and other matters. I fully intend to continue to contribute also after SIHH 2016.
Tonny is based in Belgium and has been an avid collector of IWC watches since 2002 with his first piece being a Porsche Design Automatic, ref 3520. Tonny has contributed greatly to the global IWC forum, even helping out as co-moderator when I had the great fortune to go on holiday to a faraway island with no internet connection.
