My grandfather recently showed me his old IWC which came from his grandfather.

I’ve been struggling to identify it - based on Google/ChatGPT research it looks somewhat like an 83 Inca, somewhat like an early Portugueser 325 with Calibre 74, with some design elements of the Calibre 62, but nothing quite matches perfectly. Estimate is from 1930s roughly.

I’d also like recommendations on where this could be faithfully and professionally restored (replace missing winder, etc.), and the likely costs of doing that versus the overall value of the watch. Based in Asia but am in Geneva often enough so could go anywhere to get it done, within reason!

Won’t want to sell this, but would like to restore to its former glory if worthwhile doing so. So a rough valuation and expected restoration costs would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am afraid, if the watch has no sentimental value, the cost will be too high to get it restored. Not sure the case is IWC, the dial is in a very bad state ...
