    Serial # 1036349 I believe it is a 1941 it is in 14k gold has a see through back don’t know if that’s original or not and measures approximately 29mm not including lugs any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Hi Galaxiemann64,

    you are right with the year of production of the movement, which is a Cal. 62 made in 1941. For the display case back i am pretty sure that this is not made by the factory at production time. Also the special stamping of „14 carat gold“ on the case back is not something i have seen before on a IWC watch case, but i might be wrong. Finally the large distance from the minute track on the dial to the bezel looks a bit odd. From my point of view the case might not be original to that IWC movement.
