    Good evening!
    Wonderful legacy. ))))
    There are several ways to tell you about your watch:
    1. Do it as much as possible photos of your watch from different angles, and send photos via email to manufacture IWC;
    2. As your ability to take his watch and visit with them at the manufactory IWC.
    I can only say that you have a beautiful pocket watch, the story of their continuing to be a wristwatch from a collection of Portuguese.

    With respect to Evgeny's goofsuggestions, there are easier ways to learn about the watch.

    You can Google "dateyouriwc" and find an app which will give you information. If you also have the movement number, you can find out the calibre (movement type) and its date.

    Once you know the calibre, you can find out more about by
    a) searching the archives here
    b) going to my personal website www.iwcpocketwatch.com

    You also may find the watch in old catalogs, which I have assembled and you can find that by Googling "IWC Vintage Catalog Project".

    Finally, posting photos here will allow us to comment on condition, style, etc.

    Good luck.
