Hello everyone,
I recently inherited this IWC pocket watch from my grandfather and I’m trying to learn more about it. From what I can tell, it seems to be an IWC Ingenieur Beta 21 “Electronic UFO” pocket watch from around the early 1970s.
It appears to be in good overall condition and is currently Not running, but I’m not very familiar with these early quartz models. I understand they are somewhat rare and part of the early Swiss quartz development.
I would really appreciate any insights you might have — especially regarding its approximate value, collectability, and anything I should be aware of before considering selling it.
