Hi guys, just picked up a brand new ingeniuer mission earth from my local AD couple of days ago with a REALLY decent price. I'm so glad that I'm sill able to find a brand new one after Ingy ME has been discontinued for that long. It's an absolutely stunning piece! I've been wearing it over the last couple of days and just can't take it off my wrist. Deadly accurate too by the way. Extremely happy with this purchase. Here's a wrist shot of mine.

Any comments on the watch or even just general advices for a newbie are greatly appreciated. Feel honoured and grateful to be part of the IWC family.

Awesome wrist shot! By the way, just a quick question. If I wear ME Ingy on regular basis, how long is the recommended service interval for cal 80110? Will I need to service the watch in the next 5 years?

    Thanks,
    James

    James,

Congratulations on your awesome new Mission Earth Ingenieur!

It's such an excellently designed robust authentic watch - I have no idea why they only ever made 3 variations of it and decided to kill it off.

    Enjoy it in good health.

Same here. Just want them all. What a stunner! Received lot of complements over the last couple of days while walking on the street. Great wrist presence I'd have to say.
Couldn't praise more on my ME.

Congratulations! It is indeed a lovely piece!

If you really can't take it off, please take it back to your deal to have the pin buckle checked. grin

That's what I would do to give myself an excuse to check out which watch I plan to get next... bigger grin
