So, to continue the LPP message I posted before, here are 2 color shots.

When the first pictures appeared here on the forum of the LPP, I found it really hard to get a feeling for the shade of blue of the dial AND if any sun-ray pattern on the dial was there or not?! On the IWC site, the dial clearly has sun-ray pattern, but early owners couldn't confirm it...

On the following two pictures, taken with the iPhone this morning in nice winter sunlight, you see:

[li]the LPP in it's most blue color possible (i.e. even during daytime inside your house the dial normally appears to be very dark blue/black[/li]
[li]I managed to capture 'some' sun-ray to my surprise. Normally the dial looks more 'flat'/even colored[/li]

    Hallo Bob,

Love it and your picture capture the dial very well indeed. I like this ref better than the perpetual (how fabulous it is in its own right). Thank you for sharing !

Beautiful indeed, Bob. Maybe it is diffcult to extract sunrays from night-blue?

    Kind regards,
