On a new Wolf Silver M2 Watch Winder , I've noticed that there are magnets in the frame of the product as well as in the glass door frame (probably for the purpose of closing the door to the frame).

Do the aforementioned magnets have a negative effect on the watch?

As I have a very expensive watch, and I am concerned about the potential negative effects of the magnets.

    Please see the attached photo.

     Thank you.

no worries, these magnets are so weak, they will not affect your watch

Magnets in a watch winder can interfere with mechanical watch movements, especially older calibers, by magnetizing the balance spring and affecting timekeeping accuracy. High-quality winders avoid strong magnetic fields or shield motors. Modern watches with anti-magnetic components are less affected, but caution is still recommended for long-term reliability overall safety.

Don't use watchwinders. You also don't keep your car running all night when it's parked.
