Hoping someone has any current status on the grand opening of South Coast Boutique.

Can't wait to see the layout and meet the staff.

This would be the South Coast Boutique (not sure if that is the offical name) located in South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, California.

    Thanks,

    Andy

Andy - you aren't yet on a first name basis with the staff?

Not yet...but I have managed to acquire a set of front door keys. Guess there's no need to wait for the official grand opening at this point.

So Shing's key did not work?

    Michael,

Do you know if there will be a announcement on the Web-Site of a set opening date rather than a "Now Open" posting ? If not sure, any suggestions on how/who to contact to find out ?

Would like to try and be there on the first day.

    Thanks,

    Andy

Andy --there will be a press release, but sometimes those lag behind the actual opening. For the Bal Harbor Boutique, IWC intentionally had a "soft" opening, so issues relative to getting the store operational could be ironed out. I didn't publish that press release here since I had posted the news earlier.

I usually talk to Gianfranco d'Attis about once every two weeks, so I might learn of the news early --but it's not always possible to announce the exact first date.

Thanks Michael for the prompt reply. Appreciate any news you can pass on to us SoCal Forumers. Beverly Hills Boutique is a great place to visit, but this new location should be a winner. South Coast Plaza is known for it's "A List" collection of stores so IWC will be a perfect fit.

    Patiently waiting.....again,

    Andy
