My GST has one of IWCs famous (or infamous depending on your take) "fish"
crowns. I really love it as I think it makes the, sometimes, confusing world
of water resistance a little more clear cut. I know my GST is rated to 120m,
but it is not stated on the watch itself, which I personally welcome the lack
of additional text to that effect.
Am I correct in stating that IWC would put the fish on the crown to indicate
sufficent water resistance for swimming? I have not found a ton of
information about this, but I think its a subtle, and very cool, attribute to
neo-vintage IWC.
