I don't see it under the Ingenieur collection on the web yet but it is featured quite prominently on Pages 216-219 of the 2014/15 catalogue. Both black and white dial models are on stainless steel bracelet.

    media3.iwc.com/site_media/pdf/IWC_Catalogue_2014-15_EN.pdf

Do you like it? I can easily fall for the black one but then it will resemble too closely my Ing Mission Earth.

Last year I thought the titanium version 3264 was nice but it came with rubber strap only. Now it is still on the web but not in the linked catalogue. In any case, the new stainless steel 3244 may be found appealing by many.

Yes, I like it. A lot. Looks really nice. I hope they fix the catalog soon so it downloads properly.

Looks relay good - haven´t seen anything like this from IWC up till now or am I wrong?
The white Ingenieur seems to be more precious for me.

When the year of the Portofino started 2011-2012, there was a Hand Wound Eight Days Dual Time, but was quickly withdrawn. It was very impressive to look at, shame.

I remember that one too, David Hills, the Portofino that never came. I think I still have a pic of that watch saved somewhere.

Waikato7, I could download the catalogue with no problem and all pics appear correctly. I noticed from another thread you said some pics didn't show properly on your computer?

Cesus, you said the same thing a friend of my did yesterday when I showed him the link to the catalogue. It reminds me a bit also of the Plastiki watch?

And I've just realized that I started this thread in the wrong forum. I believe it should go under "Community" instead so my apologies to the moderators for this mistake.

I just tried down loading it again to my ipad and I have the same problem, the pages with the individual watch models are not showing the pics. Is it just my ipad??

I see that the 3244 is garnering some attention and interest. It's great to see more variants of a simple central hacking second stainless steel watch in the Inge line and I think this is a worthy addition indeed! Just like the Inge Auto and the previous Mission Earth, I think this will live up to the Inge label as a rugged tool watch, as how this line is meant to be. This is a nice surprised and came under the radar rather sneakily!

My immediate preferred choice is the silver/white dial with the blue index. The red tip second hand stands out nicely here. Then again, one has to view this in the metal to really asses it.

Dave- I too recall the gorgeous dial of the Portofino Dual Time. I believe it was a 60+ hrs reserve or something close. Had it not have any problems, it could have been in my collection by now.

p/s-Jarrod try use another platform to download, I could do it easily with my PC at home and via Android.

Yes you're right Vincent, similar case/dial as the Portofino HW 8 Days, but dual time combined hours/mins at 12 'o' clock and different movement, hence 60+ hrs reserve.

Waikato7: I view that PDF catalogue file on my laptop with Windows 7 operating system and a simple PDF reader I download from the Internet. All pics appear correctly for me. Is there anyone out there successfully viewing this PDF file on Apple devices? Please share and help Waikato7.

Sidestreaker: Maybe we will eventually see that Portofino in the line up one day. Anything can happen, right? ;)

They are very good looking :-)

I notice the Collection tab on this website does not include them (or the steel PPC). Does that mean they are limited edition?

I meant the additional hand. Reminds me of the Rex GMT - a little bit ;-)
