On Friday afternoon I had a couple of hours to spare so had a splendid time being a tourist in London before joining Ralph, Greg, Mark and Thang for a splendid get together.

One of my highlights was spending time with (left to right) Sophie Mansfield, Iunal Giumali and Nicholas Davies (Boutique Manager IWC) where we had a great in depth discussion about the watches and movements of IWC. It was a splendid place to have a great chat - and like the boutique of New York - the sales staff made no pressure to push a sale and therefore the discussion was very relaxed. I didn't take any photos of the collection but they had a really brilliant selection.

Here are two boutique versions with the darker one on te right being for Harrods. The one on the left is the one with the Chinese dragon.

Thanks to the three of you for your excellent hospitality. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Hi Andrew, thanks for sharing.

I was able to drop by during a recent visit to London! I asked to see the DaVinci Ti/Ceramic and the Miramar BP.

My wife preferred the DaVinci ;-))))))

Thank you for sharing Andrew! You are lucky! Everytime I was in Harrods and asked to make some photos it was not allowed(((

Thank you for the report and pictures Andrew. It seems there are a lot more limited editions of the 5001 than I thought a wile back. In the last few months I have seen the arije edition, the Gassan edition and now you show a Harrods edition too!

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

Hi Clemens - I don't think this is a Harrods Limited edition. It was what the sales team mentioned. It is 500 pieces and I can't see anyone shifting that amount. I believe it is "The Boutique" limited edition that Harrods qualifies for.

What are the Arije and Gassan editions ?

Hi Andrew, here are two links and images for the Gassan and Arije editions. I don't know further details on the Arije unfortunately.

    Gassan (a bit further down)

Arije is mentioned in this long post

    Andrew,

Based on your feedback, they have a great team @ Harrods, which is now on my 'to visit list'.

    Regards
