Today I was reading through some old forum posts and came across one in which our esteemed colleague Shing stated that it's a good idea to send a watch in for service just before the end of the two-year warranty. That got me thinking about the IWC policy on such things. For example, if it's really routine maintenance, is it covered by the warranty and therefore at no charge? Is it necessary that the watch have a problem in order to do this or can it be entirely routine? Can one simply get a watch regulated under IWC's warranty?
Color me curious...
