I’m with a new iw503702 Portuguese perpetual calendar watch. Case gold.
Do you recommend adding Watch Protection Film on the watch?

    Thanks.

Why would you want to? Maybe the answer should be obvious..."to protect the watch".

I don't know your lifestyle, but most do not have daily activity to damage the front of the watch or case, unless you are reckless and it gets banged against something hard or  scraped along a brick wall hahaha

Having said that, if there is a special caseback with engraving, I will leave the protective sticker on it, like you can see in this photo I'm using the IWC sticker...................

I do get your point and I think protective film is a reasonable choice if you want to preserve the condition of nice (especially gold) watch.

That said, I've come to appreciate a bit of wear on a watch as well. A few scratches and marks are a natural result of actually enjoying it rather than keeping it in a box. Some honest wear can build the character of a watch, I think.
