Any feedback to share? I have heard it has done well to start, good signs! It may be fantastic for IWC, it seems the brand is quite visible. I am going to try to catch it at an IMAX theater, that looks like the way to go.

Ben, great topic here!
I was fortunate enough to attend the Switzerland Premiere with my son last Thursday in Zürich at the official IWC event.
Expectations were extremely high and were even exceeded.
I can't remember 2.5 hours passing by so fast.
Maybe the best racing scenes that I had ever seen!
But it's not only for F1 freaks but for a Hollywood movie at it's best: Entertaining, so well played by so many great characters. Of course so many great watches to see in it. Most interesting, that many scenes were actually filmed during the F1 race weekends in the middle of the real race event. The APX GP F1 team has their garage in the middle of Mercedes and Ferrari garages and the real F1 drivers are part of the movie without acting. They were just put in scene in the middle of their regular race routine which makes this movie a one of a kind unique experience.
And well, there's so much more to say:
Alone the music composed by oscar winning movie music composer Hans Zimmer with so many great songs e. g. by Ed Sheeran just to mention the most popular.
It was such a cool event and movie. I will watch it a few times more. That's for sure.

I will attend a gala screening in Toronto with IWC on July 10.
I will let you know impressions then.
I saw it twice already. Fun movie, it is entertainment for sure, loved it for what it is, and amazing action movie. Loved all the iwc watches on screen, even the cameo of a certain CEO was fun to see.

The film is simply fantastic. I saw it with H. Pantli and R. Jäger at the IWC event in Zurich on June 29. I'll definitely watch the film again. IWC was very discreetly but clearly represented in the film.
I bought the limited-edition Ingenieur; it's a really beautiful watch.
Best regards.
Peter

I also was in the Movie.
Based on Story, it is OK. The typical scenes are checked BUT CAMERA MOVEMENT and Emotions whise a milestone. Really enjoyed the movie and I totally didnt felt the 2+hours time spend.
Also we had the pleasure to get an intro from Chris in person.

Thanks to IWC Toronto, I have just returned home from the fantastic event.
I really enjoyed the film more than I expected to. Most enjoyable and I will recommend it.
Here are some pics:

Late to this thread but finally caught it in IMAX last weekend and have to add my voice to the chorus, what a ride.
Ben, you made the right call holding out for IMAX. The sound design alone justifies it, the engine notes hit you in the chest exactly the way they do trackside. Those onboard shots filmed during actual race weekends are something I have never seen done at this level before. You can tell the difference between staged racing and the real thing instantly, and this movie blurs that line in a way no F1 film has managed before.
On the IWC side, the product placement is handled with real restraint, which I appreciated. No lingering hero shots forcing the watches down your throat, just natural wrist presence that feels like part of the character rather than an ad break. The Ingenieur callouts in particular landed well. Monsan, congrats on picking up the limited edition, saw it online and it is a genuinely lovely piece, the green dial works far better in the metal than I expected from the press shots.
Tilo, jealous of the Zurich premiere. And Mark, those Toronto event photos look fantastic, IWC really did this campaign properly.
The Hans Zimmer score deserves its own mention too. There is one sequence in the second half where the music drops out almost completely and you just hear the car, gave me actual goosebumps. Will be watching again, probably twice more before it leaves theatres.
Good year to be an IWC fan and a racing fan.
