You are a magician finding these rare beauties. Maybe you can get LAN to a blue dial B-Uhr.

I like them all.
One great collection there.
Hi Antonio,
Just because your collection is almost complete, I maybe can post a few watches that are still missing. This is not meant as a show-off but as a mean to depict the (whole) series of famous military watches by IWC.
Here is a complete unrestored original Mk 11 , made for RAAF
...and here is the back side.
Kind regards,
Adrian,
(alwaysiwc).
An almost forgotten but unequalled IWC Mk 11 is the gun camera watch used by the "Lightning" bombers in the UK for many years. There is no mechanical watch in the world that could withstand better changes in temperature, air pressure, strong magnetic fields and vibrations, all evoked by a battle airplane during a flight.
Kind regards,
Adrian

very impressive... like the b-uhr!

Antonio,
Here is the RNZAF (Royal New Zealand Air Force) IWC Mk 11.
It is extremely rare..
...seen on the back side. I had to use a large paperclip as a holder(=:
Pictures of IWC deck watches next time.....

Hi Adrian,
Thanks for sharing. I can "unburden" you from the RAAF, the RNZAF Mark 11s, or both, at any time. :-) These two are my primary targets.
The gun clock of the English Electric Lightning, interesting as it is, remains a target of opportunity for me. I am not actively searching for one as it was not used for astro-navigation. BTW, the Lightning was not a bomber, she was a pure interceptor.
Looking forward to see the RN deck watches.
To my thinking there is one, and perhaps only one, RN IWC watch to own. Too bad it's still not mine ;)

This cal 71 is in fact the mother of all deck watches. The chances of finding one are close to nil.
It is still not yours, and it will not be, if I see it first. ;)
Wow, impressive collection! Thanks for sharing the picture here with us.
And many thanks for all the additional pictures and info contributed by other collectors.
Kind regards,
Clemens

Olá Kunisman,
Benvindo ao forum. É bom ver mais um fan da IWC em Portugal.
The "other" RN deck watch (cal. 52T):

Excellent. All the military IWC in the same thread.
So indeed, there are 2 different IWC Royal Navy Deck Watches : the Cal. 71 "fishtail" and the Cal. 52 SC (seconde centrale). From the last one, only 200 were made. So very collectable I would say. The funny thing is this. The famous B-Uhr with caliber 52SC has the same movement as the cal 52SC PW and 1000 pieces were made. On the current market both watches are nearly unfindable, I mean correct ones. The wrist watch B-Uhr easily fetches 20.000-25.000 $,but the PW can be bought for less than a quarter of that price! Than 15.000 $ for a steel watch case is a lot of money.(=:
Now that both known Royal Navy PW's have been shown, I wonder whether it is worthwhile to post the "Kriegsmarine" and post war "Bundeswehr" deck watches used by the German Navy until 1966. They were posted before in an article here on the Forum, but I am glad to show their pictures and (summarised) stories once again.
Kind regards,
Adrian,

Yes Adrian, why don't you post images of the Bund series?
